As 640,000 Ohioans remain jobless and the prospect of an economic recovery looks bleak, the Democrats in Washington continue to push forward with their health care takeover that will cost over a trillion dollars that we don't have, raise premiums on working families and impose billions in new taxes that we cannot afford.
The House of Representatives is poised to vote on this massive government overhaul of health care in the coming week, legislation which does nothing to address the problem of high costs in our system, while threatening to jeopardize the quality of care that we receive and striking another major blow to our economy.
As the window of time to stop this job killing, budget-busting bill continues to shrink, I ask you to stand with me and tell Congressman Boccieri that a vote for this bill is another vote for the failed Obama-Pelosi agenda and is a vote against the people of the 16th district.
